The Residence Bachelard is located on the campus of Université Lille 1 (metro Cité Scientifique, line 1), close to Ascotel hotel.

On your arrival, the welcome desk is located in the main building.
Beware: it is closed from 11:00 until 13:00, and from 17:00 until 20:30.

If you don't speak French, here are some words to introduce yourself to the janitor: Bonjour. Je m'appelle <your name> et j'ai une chambre réservée pour la conférence CPM09. (Translation: Hello. My name is <your name>, and I have a room booked here for CPM09 congress.)

Price and payment: Payment is to be done by cash or by credit card to the residence on monday morning (the cash desk is closed on sunday). The price per night is 14.14 euros for students (bring your student card) and 26.60 euros for other people.

Facilities: Showers and toilets are shared. Sheets are provided, but towels and toilet tissue are not. There is a common room on the ground floor with internet access.
